Privacy Policy

Information we collect

When you register, apply as a provider, take a survey or contact us, we collect the information you provide — such as your name, email address, phone number, city and, for providers, professional background. When you use KU Digital, we also process enrollment, scheduling and payment records needed to run your programs. Our website uses Google Analytics, which collects standard usage data (pages visited, device type, approximate location) through cookies.

How we use it

We use your information to operate the platform — registering you, processing enrollments and payments, scheduling sessions and sending reminders and confirmations; to review provider applications; to respond when you contact us; to understand how the site is used so we can improve it; and to send occasional updates about Kala Utsav programs and the centre, which you can opt out of at any time.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as payment processors and analytics), with instructors for programs you enroll in, or where the law requires it.

Events and visibility

Events on KU Digital carry a visibility level chosen by the host. Information you share when joining an event (such as your name on a guest list) is visible to that event's host and, for public events, may appear in attendee-facing views.

Children

Accounts are created and managed by adults. Parents and guardians enroll family members, including children, through their own member profile, and we collect children's information only as provided by the enrolling adult for program participation.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can unsubscribe from non-essential email, by writing to hello@kala-utsav.org. You can also limit analytics cookies through your browser settings.
